Whole 30 Day 4

How I’m Feeling

Up to this point, I have followed the Whole 30 Timeline generally well. Today and tomorrow are the “kill all the things days” according to the timeline. We’ll see what tomorrow brings but today I have felt great! I have felt a bit lethargic but I haven’t felt angry at all. I feel like I’ve skipped the day 4-5 phase and skipped right to day 6. I haven’t felt very hungry today but have been eating all meals.

What I Ate

Breakfast: 2 eggs, fruit, and black coffee

Snack: I wasn’t too hungry for a snack today but I did have some sliced cucumber in the car.

Lunch: Leftover Whole 30 Chilli (Can’t stop, won’t stop!)

Dinner: My best friend’s mom made seasoned chicken breast with roasted veggies. Compliant and delicious! (Not pictured: cauliflower)

Tonight’s menu: trading in the wine glass for a glass of sparkling water and the World Junior Championship cheering on our Canadian boys! Happy Friday!

Let’s Talk About Self-Care

Dr. Seuss once said, “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

And isn’t that the truth? After all, you are the only you that exists. Yet sometimes in the craziness of life, we are so busy taking care of others around us that we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves. In recent years, I have started to take the time and do things to take care of myself and what a difference it has made!
