I absolutely love macaroni and cheese but have never yet ventured to make my own. Until a couple days ago.
My boyfriend and I made this recipe for baked macaroni and cheese.
We used a recipe from Genius Kitchen and you can find the recipe here.
Here’s how we varied it:
We sautéed half a medium onion and two cloves of garlic with butter in a small frying pan. When the garlic became aromatic, we added some cubed kielbasa sausage. Salt, pepper, and a bit of cayenne pepper and garlic powder were added for an extra zing. We then added this to the cheddar cheese soup and evaporated milk mixture.
